If you have a current challenge with your health, if you are aging and need to eat differently, or have been told by your health care provider that your diet needs to change, let's work on a plan together! I firmly believe that food matters, and it can be as powerful a medicine as any pill you may take.

It is important for you to feel safe with the food you put into your body. Through online conversations, and in person visits, we will make sure that you are well nourished with food that loves you back. I have years of experience incorporating a variety of preferences and allergies and lots of skills for altering recipes. Together we can come up with ideas for meals that incorporate both your nutritional needs and dietary preferences. This can be FUN!​​​​

Step 2: In-Person Cooking Session, 2-4 hours
Only available to residents of Yancey and Mitchell Counties, NC.
We will plan a menu, and then I will send you a shopping list. Please have all ingredients on hand for our cooking session. We will spend a few hours together, meeting you where you are in terms of energy and health. I am happy to prepare all the food if that is what is most supportive, or we can work together so that you are on your
way to cooking for yourself.

About Me
I have experimented with different ways of eating throughout my adult life, and I love to geek out on all aspects of food, from the nutrition and flavor to the presentation. As a postpartum caregiver and chef since 2009, I have had the opportunity to cook for families with a variety of preferences and allergies.
I am not dogmatic about following any particular philosophy. My approach is informed by Ayurveda, Keto, Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Whole 30, GAPS, and Nourishing Traditions.
This supports my ability to create foods that are easy to digest and enjoyable to eat. My clients tell me that I am very comfortable to have in their homes, and we often have wonderful conversations about food and life during our time together.
